Three Things

One fan uses an analogy that Star Wars is George's shirt. So he goes, 'It's my shirt I can do whatever I want with it.' Yeah, except it's a shirt he mass produced and distributed. It's really more of a shirt design - then what he did, was have a direct internet connection to all the shirts fans had, and said "I'm going to make it better." He proceeded to alter all of their shirts into crappy designs they didn't like. Oh, sure, it's not a rock solid analogy, but it holds. Shirts don't change format. But not everyone can run around with old VCRs. I can understand why Star Wars fans are pissed off about not being able to get remastered versions of the old movies. For many people; they are simply forced to accept whatever comes down the pipeline. So that's why I think the analogy holds.

Also, when people say, 'George raped my childhood.' (as shown in the film) that really isn't an appropriate analogy - however - what he did do, is take their precious family photo album and draw dicks in everyone's faces.

Some people are like 'This documentary is one sided' Uh huh. I really don't quite see it that way. But if you do consider the fact that it's called The People vs. George Lucas, and Lucas never appears to defend himself. It's basically the people making a case against him. So - who gives a crap then? The movie is what it says it is. Get over it.
