Waste of time
A few of the interviewees really crystallized the feelings of betrayal and disappointment real fans felt after the special editions and Episode I.
Besides those instances, the film fails to adequately probe why people are upset and the nature of the extreme fandom SW inspires. There is too much debate in it, the scenes where two interviewees go back and forth and debate Midichlorans was really upsetting. Who is gonna defend Midichlorans? Lucas wouldn't even do that, they haven't been mentioned again since Episode I in any of the sequels or expanded universe, cause it was a thought crime that destroyed the integrity of the world.
It just really didn't inform me at all or enlighten me to criticisms of or merits of George Lucas. If you are a super casual fan or not a fan at all the movie might be sort of entertaining, I guess.
