Different messages for everyone.

I like this movie for different reasons than most. I was a Lucas-basher until a few hours ago, this film convinced me of how childish and demanding some fans are. It also made the point that George makes films for everyone. There's a bad problem in Hollywood in the past 20 years that films have to fit a certain niche or audience, essentially making every film a one-trick pony. This is caused by corporate thinking, like movies are other products made for a particular crowd. So in a way, Lucas is still doing what he always did. I enjoyed the original Trilogy as a kid, and my son enjoys the prequels as a kid. I don't like them as much, but my generation is not the only audience.


I guess the meek can inherit the Earth now. It looks like the stupid aren't doing anything with it.
