And I have to say I was very impressed.
I am a huge fan of the entire works of Tolkien and to a lesser (but appreciative)degree, the Jackson films.
This was precise and captivating - I do hope the team who accomplished this follow boards such as these because they need to know that there are people out there that appreciate works such as these. Very well done.

For such a Tolkien fan and fan of the films, i ask you; HOW could you stand the terrible writing in this film? It was ridiculous.. the patethic 'recycling' of LOTR(movies) line etc. or otherwise just bad writing..
Because that the reason i ended up turning it off, little over half way through.. I couldn't stand that crap anymore.. And it ruined a movie that looked terrific and the fine afforts of the Aragorn actor.

I don't think you can say it ruined the movie. For the most part I agree with you, though. It was pretty lame, and I was embarrassed throughout viewing. Still, the cinematography was good, and considering the budget it was made on you have to applaud the makers efforts. But, yeah, the script could have used some work. You just gotta realize only a truly geeky person would make a fan film, so it's always going to be lame.
