The girls mention that they sell the cookies in alphabetical order: they

oppose selling to Vector first because his name starts with V, not A. What kind of sense does this make? How likely is it that all those houses have people living in alphabetical order? Wouldn't they have to walk all over the city several times? Wouldn't it make more sense to do a whole neighborhood at a time?

Not sell, deliver.

My guess is that Margo and the others were fibbing. If she didn't want to sell cookies to Vector then Margo is just a lazy ass kid either that or they were looking inside Vector's evil personality somehow the first time they were selling cookies to him.

They don't SELL them in alphabetical order, they deliver the cookies to the people who bought them in alphabetical order. So if they sold to a Jones, then they'd deliver to Jones then Vector.

Whether they're selling or delivering, it doesn't much matter. Either way it's not a logical delivery system as they'd have to drive all over the city to do it alphabetically.

But as the other posters say, this is only a cartoon, it really isn't a major point.

One of the "For Real" segments on CyberChase was about this, actually. Harry was working as a bellboy at a hotel, and the phones where down, so instead of wakeup calls he had to go and knock everyone up (it's British and I like it). The first time he did it alphabetiacally, by guest and wore himself out. The next time, he wised up and sorted everybody by floor.

The woman at the orphanage was mad at them for not selling many. If they only sold a few it would be easier this way.

What I wanna know is why they're still delivering the cookies sold through the orphanage when they don't live at the orphanage anymore...?

And Gru could've saved face by saying Vector's last name started with an A.
