How could they still sell cookies?

Correct me if I`m wrong, but after the girls were adopted, how could they they go on selling cookies for Miss Hattie? Shouldn`t only girls belonging to that home be allowed to sell them?

Shouldn`t all connections with Miss Hattie`s home be severed after adoption?

reply

They were not selling them anymore, only delivering the ones allready sold.

Gru made sure of that so that he could advance his plan...

All right, but they`re still involved in the whole distribution process. It`s true that the first time they`re just placing orders, but they could have let someone who belonged to the orphanage take over the list.

Anyway, I don`t care anymore.

Remember how Gru didn't want to deliver alphabetically and thought that the letter V was a good place to start? It's because there were no other cookies, only the cookie robots Gru had made (and possibly extra real cookies to "complete the order" for Vector. since he bought so many). Chances are he told the girls that he got the cookies from the orphanage so that they could deliver them, with the obvious intention of only going to Vector. This is made even more obvious when the girls ask if they are going to deliver the rest of the cookies now and Gru tells them no.

Okay, there's one thing I don't understand about that comment. How would they deliver the cookies that were already sold? Did Vector order the cookies possibly before Gru adopted the girls? Because to me it doesn't make sense. Vector told the girls to go away- as we see in the beginning of the movie- and when they mentioned selling cookies, Vector opened up the door to his fortress for them. So I don't really understand how the girls, during their second visit after they're adopted, were still able to sell cookies. Unless Vector ordered more cookies from them before they were adopted. Because I don't know how you'd still deliver cookies even after they were sold. I know you could probably buy girl scout cookies from the store possibly, but I don't think this movie uses real logic, does it?

Ok, I think you might be Tarded.

You sell the cookies, as in AN ORDER. (Just like magazines, cristmas cards etc.) Hince the clipbord. Where do you see the girls having cookis during the visits? Up their ass?

You go from house to house, having people order x amount of boxes/flavours/style etc. And then when you have collected thier orders,(and money)they deliver them.

Since the girls had sold all the cookies, (therefore gaining entrance to Vectors home) they were tasked with delivering them (again, ganing access to Vectors home) that's the only reason Gru adopted them.

If you're talking about me, sorry, I didn't understand. I just don't know how the girls would get the cookies from the orphanage if they don't live there anymore. Unless it means they had the cookies from the orphanage all along after they were adopted.

So, let me get this straight... you have no problems accepting that the guy can build a rocket to the moon, all kinds of robots etc; but he can't buy/bake cookies?

reply

Obviously you have never sold cookies, or popcorn, or band candy or anything else.

You take orders then you RETURN to DELIVER the cookies, popcorn or candy.
