shareI had minions, they were my 2 younger brothers when we were kids...let's call them Al and Bob.
If I was lying on the couch watching TV, I would say to Al, "Go get me some chips, Bob was able to do it in 10 seconds...I bet you can't beat that time. Al would immediately rush off to the kitchen, return in x number of seconds with the chips, and however long it took him, I would say...all right, 9 seconds !!, you beat Bob's best time !!"
This worked every time on both of then, for a year or so because they were competitive, and both wanted to please their older brother ;-)
Yes!!!! I have a rat and 2 African land snails. Do they count?!
shareKytem2, I wish i had known you in the 80s....you could have coached me. I have two younger siblings and never thought to use them as minions. (And using your brothers' competitive streak was pretty brilliant, btw.) Now I'm going to sit here and mourn my wasted youth.
