Just watched '07 and '10 back to back.
I have to say the remake, though unnecessary, was so close to the original it was as funny. Neither was an exceptional film, I think Tudyk would have played better in the American version and Marsden in the British. Tudyk didn't stand out from the British quirkiness as starkly as he would have against the American cast and Marsden is so pretty and a little impish in his role that he would have added some life to the slightly grey British version.
