And Hollywood said.....

We shall make film in our image, and it shall be Americanised...sorry 'ized.

Pathetic!

Why remake this film in such a way after such a short time? I don't buy the demographic crap. If it was done ten years later in it's current format then I could possibly accept it.

Hark at me...I've not even seen the film, not going to either. The 2007 film was good enough.

The only funny thing about the remake is that almost every character is scizophrenic. They've clearly studied the original, copied the lines and some of the sentiment but then added their own twist. So with Aaron (Chris Rock) you have an introverted, and quiet grieving guy who likes to shout a lot and occassionally act a little goofy. Because of this hardly any of them actually make any sense, or feel real at all.

But that's what you get when you hire comedians to act, but then tell them 'Can we bring a little more 'Chris Rock' to this role?'

The whole movie was scizophrenic. It's one of the worst scizophrenic movies I've ever seen in my life.

The issue with the original is that it only featured two American actors.

You see the problem right?
