Bad Acting and James Marsden

I could not wait for this movie as it had a hilarious black cast. However, I was beyond let down as the acting was poor and seemed like they were over acting or under acting if you get my drift.

Regina Hall was the only one who acted 100% on the ball, where as James Marsden's acting was soooooooooooooo bad he ruined the movie for me.

This movie had heaps of potential, and we all know the actors can do better in terms of acting.

i agree with Regina Hall but I have to disagree with James Marsden. I think he was hilarious, as someone who was just drugged with a hallucinogen. I think it was on point.

Overall, I would say everyone did a good job. I generally find Tracey Morgan a bit annoying, but I think that is his shtick, so I can let that slide.

It is really hard to judge someone's acting when they are acting *beep* up for the whole movie. I think he did about as well as you could acting like a drugged out guy.

I was actually pretty impressed with Rock in this one.

I hate IMDB's Signature policy...

He was great

Marsden was 100% dead on. From someone who has taken an hallucinogenic and have seen people on them...that is it...fantastic acting.

I just the finished the movie a couple of minutes ago, and I personally thought Regina Hall was a bit bland. It might've been her character though, and I haven't seen the original, so I can't really judge. I like her though. James Marsden was great as well.

I agree, Regina was sort of a blank character for me in this one, though I think she was meant to be. Unfortunate, because I think she's definitely one of the better actors in the cast. Her role just didn't really have anything to it, so I definitely don't think it was her.. just the character.

For me, it was Lawrence that got on my nerves. Rock was much better than Lawrence and it was hard for me to watch them together because I was wishing they had cast someone else. I'm really not a fan of Lawrence's acting at all. I thought Marsden was okay, not great but not awful.. though that is a hard role to judge.

Marsden was funny. I especially loved the little dufus wave he gave at the end as Chris Rock walked out after giving his eulogy. He was great.
