Really enjoyed this until the end

I remember being one of the few people who actually enjoyed this when it came out in theaters. With found footage films being so popular at the time, it was a breath of fresh air that this one went a different route of being more of a character study drama with some horror elements instead of a generic exorcism horror film. That was until the ending where it drops the ball with a rushed conclusion thats the same as almost every other found footage horror film. Otherwise though, it's an underrated film that gets too much hate because it tried to do something different instead of be the generic horror film I think most audiences expected it to be.
