This show is so embarrassingly fake now

The last few episodes prove they are just making it up. All the awful acting. Zak getting possessed or falling on the floor. The episode before the last about aliens and samurai sword alien killing hillbilly actually made me laugh out loud.

I like to think the show was at one point was legitimate or at least semi legitimate but it's a joke now. Hell just the law of averages proves it's staged. Every single place they investigate just happens to have voices and physical apparitions. In reality (and I believe in ghosts, we lived in an apartment with one when I was a kid) they would have paranormal activity happen in probably one of every ten locations investigated and that's being generous.

Most of it is just the crew talking about how they feel "weird" and want to attack somebody like they are possessed with terrible acting. It's so lazy.

I get that Travel Channel wants more "action" for ratings but the staging and fakeness is laughable now. I'm sure Zak and Aaron and the others are getting paid enough to stage stuff but it's absurd now.

Hell the Season Finale of this season was nothing more than another promotion for Zak's museum, just like Deadly Possessions was.

I thought the same thing regarding the "promotion" and shameless plug for Zak's museum. I was thinking that (the business promotion) was the motivation for this ep, OR he was too cheap to spend money on traveling elsewhere. It's probably the former, though. I just hope that in the future, he will come A LITTLE FURTHER EASTWARD.

However, I just learned tonight that the new ep in September will take place ---- you got it ---- IN ARIZONA! 😫

Yeah, it seemed like a lot of tonight's episode was scripted and it did seem that the guys were over-acting more than usual. It was disappointing. I felt like SOME of the "evidence" was interesting, though. But I didn't believe that Jay's camera moved on its own while he was sleeping or that something had moved his bed, which then curled up the rug. (The curled rug was the "evidence" that an entity had moved his cot?)

And, the "feeling pain", having an "overwhelming feeling of sadness" having a "heavy chest", feeling "angry"/ violent towards others, the "mini-possessions", etc. is all acting. There's no wayy to PROVE that they FEEL a certain way. They add that in for dramatic effect. Often, it falls short.

I guess I'd just like to see MORE. I'm not sure exactly what is lacking.

After watching a few episodes of the Cursed Objects show, it was clear the show was so overly produced it was embarrassing.

I love this show but I don't take it seriously. I love a paranormal story even if I don't really believe it.

Either this show needs to get back to the basics as it was in the first seasons, or it might end up getting cancelled at some point because people lost interest.
It was a lot more interesting back when they began creating the show, but it lost its way when they began introducing all that techno gear, like that Kinect thing showing "matchstick ghosts".

I found it way more interesting back when their main gear just was the Mel-meter, digital voice recorders, the SB7 spirit box and what they caught using night vision cameras.

I saw the first episode of season 13 and I found it very hard to watch Zak anymore because of how pathetic he's become.

I am so glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. You could explain away 3/4 of the "sightings" and supposed ghost activity by people off-camera shining flashlights and dropping things. And the evp's all sound like somebody whispering off-camera as well. It's complete bs.
