Some questions about this film (Spoilers)

Uh... did you actually watch the movie?

The girl was his wife or girlfriend... he thought at first that she was the bank teller and he killed her. He realized later that he kept thinking about her because she was part of his life.

And how did you miss the fact that he is good???? That was kinda the whole point of the movie. He thinks the whole time that he is a bank robber, but he was really just taken hostage. Don't know how you could miss that.

As for the pain killers in the bag, you would be surprised what you can find in the woods. It was probably left there by some backpacker... remember the bag also had water and food.

I took it as the pain killers where an illusion. I see it as the mind playing tricks on the body. Think of the placebo effect, if your mind thinks your body is getting medicine, maybe you pysch yourself out and think the pain is going away. Thus giving him motivation to keep moving forward, trying to find help.
