the dead guy was spited to the trees, where the puma gets him and starts to eat his back. later we can see the driver all chewed up.
Allways do it with an Architect
There was only ever a guy in the back seat. The main character did often hallucinate seeing his wife or girl friend in the driver's seat.
shareThe OP is correct. There was definitely a dead guy in the front seat in the beginning and he did appear and disappear. As to why this was or what this meant, I cannot answer. Perhaps it was Brody’s character compensating for the lack of a driver (he was coming up with his own version of what the driver may have looked like) or it may have been just another hallucination.
sharenope, there're only 2 other guys in the beginning, the one who was dead in the backseat, and the one that (maybe) got 'ejected' from the seat and ended up on the front of the car a few meters.
shareI have to disagree. I’m pretty sure there was indeed a dead guy in the front seat. He was only flashed very very quickly, and certainly did not remain there for any significant portion of the film. However, myself and the OP seemed to have seen these quick flashes. The woman (who we later learn to have been Brody’s girlfriend/wife) also flashes very quickly in the front seat. Regardless of who is correct though, this issue clearly did not have any significant impact on the film. :)
shareI agree, the only person I saw in the driver's seat is the woman in the scene right after he shoots at the cougar. The purpose, I believe, is to show that she wasn't just in a dream, but that she can appear as a hallucination with him wide awake.
For those of you insisting there's another, can you narrow down and describe approximately how far into the movie and describe the scene or scenes before and after it? Several shots show the guy in the backseat which *might* be mistaken for the front seat (though it's a stretch).
This feels so absurd, talking about the number of dead dudes ;)
I remember this:
1) Dude in back seat (no one in front seat)
2) Dude up the road (that gets fed to the lion)
3) Dude in cave (with cell phone). It's the hunter that steals the cash from the boot.
4) Dude in the middle of the forest (gets ejected from car during accident)
I think that's it.
I've watched this film three times now. There is without a doubt never EVER a single shot (quick flash or otherwise) of any dead man in the driver's seat.
shareI agree I def seen a dead man in the drivers seat..it was a quick flash!
"so what coo coo are we moving tonight?".."Michael Myers".."trick or treat baby!" ~Halloween(2007)
That would be a big, huge "negative." There's never a dead body in the front seat. You guys must be watching the extended director's cut only available to the special people of the world.
shareI just saw the film and there is definitely NOT a man in the driver's seat. There's only one in the back seat then another man way ahead who was the driver after being ejected from the car.
There's nobody next to him. He sees the guy in the back seat through the rear view mirror. Maybe it appeared he was next to him but he wasn't.

The OP must be talking about when the main character dreams his girlfriend is sitting next to him. She is sitting in the driver's seat while he is asleep or unconscious, dreaming, near the beginning of the movie when he is still trapped in the car. He wakes up suddenly, and she's gone.
