Is this that movie with the WORST special effects?
The scene I'm thinking of is people cowering behind a car, while overlaid over the whole image is a flock of lame birds not moving anywhere but flapping up and down. Is that it?
Yeah. That's the type of effects. Dreadful CG sprites just sorta pasted over the scenes. I kinda guessed that the actual sprites were the animated equivalent of clipart, probably examples that came with some simple video editing software. I saw a documentary interviewing the filmmaker and he apparently thought it all worked... The guy is in a special category -- worse than Neil Breen.
