Does anybody know where specifically this was filmed? I mean more than just 'somewhe in West Yorks? A colleague at work is obsessed with whre it was filmed as she is from that part of the country and any info would help

most of it was filmed in Huddersfield...
The flats where Ruth Slater lived is at the bottom of Boothtown in Halifax. The farmhouse is just ouside Ripponden a few miles outside Halifax. The solicitors office was close to Halifax magistrates court, forget the names of the streets.
