Confused between peacemaker and reacher?!

They are polar opposites, who like a little bit of violence. ;) Both have back stories. Both are becoming endeared to their group. Peacemaker always time to rock with the radio while driving, but reacher just isn't that into it.

One is ready to kill everyone, break their legs and walk away... the other, unwilling to shoot random kids. oO haha

I think someone in tv land said "Lets do this!" and someone else said "No, lets do this!" and they're fighting it out.

I love 'em both. Both have super gorgeous side chicks... a pedantic black fellow, and a slew of either hang on or cast off helpers.

I dunno, it just strikes me that I dig Reacher as much as I do, given Peacemaker makes me flat out smile and oft feel bad... at least he shot his dad. Sorry, Spoiler...

Ahhh, so it has come to this, said Ned, as he hung from the gallows...

'Reacher' and 'Peacemaker' are similar for the reasons that you mentioned (sensitive brutes with tough childhoods, backstory involving their dead brothers, beautiful sidekicks, all the action is set in a small town, etc).

'Peacemaker' was far better executed, though. I thought 'Reacher' was rushed and sloppy ... the tone was all over the place, the humour was weak, and Alan Ritchson's performance was unintentionally weird, to the extent that a lot of viewers were left wondering if Reacher was supposed to be autistic.

Having just watched the last episode of Peacemaker (and Reacher a bit ago) I agree. I did like both, but Peacemaker was more to my liking. I'm glad to see reports of a season 2 of it in the works.

Hate it when near the end of an episode you have to pause and google "This is not the season finale is it?" -- too many shows are one season wonders these days... Intentionally done so, so there is no need to explain cancellations when some execs change their tunes...

Reacher looks more like an updated version of Walking Tall with a white version of The Rock....sans any superhero weapons, costumes, etc.
