Having Borat become Woke ruined the whole thing

Part of the reason Borat is so funny is his ignroance. Having him become woke at the end of the film just ruined the whole joke. It's almost like SBC doesn't understand what makes his own character so funny in replacement of his own politics.

I'm pretty sure it was motivated by fitting into Hollywood and getting a decent pay check, I doubt any of these Hollywood types actually think for themselves.

SBC is pretty far left. The whole movie was just done to bash on Republicans and Trump.

I agree, but not many of them have the courage to stand up for their individual values and sell themselves out for a paycheck or happy to flaunt their own depravity.
