S03: Forgot everything, recap sucked.

Man, this took too long between seasons, and the recap was horrible. Five episodes in and I feel like I'm jumping in to a complete new show. Some of the references they are making I only remember faintly.

Was a good season, I'm glad I stuck to the end. They seemed to wrap up most of the big things from this season so S4 will be an even longer wait or never at all. 7/10

I notice that for a more fulfilling experience I have to rewatch prior seasons before watching a new one.

It changes your perception entirely.

The only problem, obviously, is finding the time.

What you say is true of almost every show. I make it a policy always to re-watch last week’s episode of every show I enjoy before I watch the current episode.
