All I got from this film was that Ginsberg was a prick
because he was initially denied by Carr (who I believe was going through an experimental phase and not really homosexual at all) therefore he only took into account one side of the story and that being Kammerer's side. By the end of the film I was left uncomfortable by the way they sympathized with Kammerer. The guy was a pedophile and a creep. He deserved to die for what he did. I don't agree with murder at all but I really didn't care that he was dead. He stalked and sexually abused Carr to the point where it drove him to attempt suicide. The way they made Carr seem like the monster kinda sickened me not gonna lie. I just will never understand why this was so one sided. The only thing i can come up with is that Ginsberg was angry at the fact that Carr rejected him. So in order to get "back" he made Kammerer the defenseless victim and Carr the cold blooded psychopath by claiming Carr was in love with Kammerrer. Even if it was true(dont think it is), it doesn't really matter at all. But then again this is a movie, I might not even be getting the full story.
