Okay..

So I didn't mind the 2007 version but this one was just.. Crap..

Yes it was. So many things should've been different, it's like he didn't care. Michael should never grunt, be unmasked or speak. Laurie, Loomis, even Annie were horrible. Wish the hospital stuff had been real. No Sheri Zombie and her white horse.

Just awful.

Sorry, but Michael grunted and moaned in the original Halloween.

There is no 'now', here.

He breathed heavy through a mask. I'm okay with that since most people would do that. He grunted when he exerted himself killing Annie, Bob and Lynda, but didn't "growl" like he did when he killed Octavia Spencer, stomped the bouncer and then Annie. It's called subtly. He also grunted in the original out of surprise of being shot. Those situations warranted noises. Halloween II 2009 didn't have to do that. He never spoke in any of the films either. He howled once in Resurrection, but never in 4, 5, 6 or H20 did he ever make a peep when he did anything.

So it's a pattern. The whole point is Halloween II didn't have to make noises, but it did.

When he was electrocuted by Freddie with the electrical cables Michael went "Oooooh". It was weird hearing him make a different sound than he usually does.
