One of the worst horror films ive seen

The story line had potential but the delivery was horrific. I barley made it through. Definitely cringe worthy.

I feel the same way. Only saw it once in theaters, the others I've seen multiple times. Own it for collection's sake, but hardly ever watch it.

Not every film can be appreciated in a single viewing. Some films I disliked or didn't care for the first few times I saw them but I persevered.

I want even that keen on either of Zombie's H films the first time I saw the . But looking at the combination of things he took from the original franchise and some things he added or developed further, they are solid films.

One thing I'd ditch is his wife, she sucks. But this H2 beats many of the original films (especially the later ones) hands down.

So you prefer a Michael who is maskless, grunts, speaks dresses in a parka and stomps people? That is simply not the character. Not even close. His first outing was closer to Michael, despite his hulking size. Speaking of characters, Loomis was never that horrible, even alcoholic druggie H20 Laurie wasn't as bad as this version and even Annie and Sheriff Brackett aren't likeable.

Had it not been called Halloween or had Michael Myers name in it, it would've been okay. But as it was, it was everything a Halloween film never was.

Agreed, Dave.

RIP Wayne 'Trapper John' Rogers. MASH wasn't the same w/o you. RIP Tony Burton. RIP George Kennedy

This movie was atrocious! Everything was bad. This is not what a Halloween is about. Scout's annoyed the hell out of me with her crying and whimpering in the final scene that I almost smashed my tv. Scout was running in heals at the end and she kept moaning and falling, wtf was that all about? She was so unliked that I wished Michael raped and set her on fire.

Zombie did good with the first one, then *beep* 2 up so badly. Michael walking around with no mask, groaning as he killed, defeats the purpose if him. He killed when he put on the mask like in part one, this didn't follow that theme.

and sharing the same hallucinations as Michael was a cringefest and did not make any sense

Not to mention in the first movie she's an annoying teenie bop nerd hipster and now she's some annoying punk metal emo hipster good God wtf does Rob smoke when he makes these....

and then there's the total 180 on Loomis personality also. Like seriously wtf. It's like Rob purposely made every character an unlikeable *beep* on purpose just to *beep* on the series out of spite to carpenter...

Nevermind he flat out lies in interviews and flip flops statements so many times.
First he was totally against remakes, then he's all for them. Then he's totally against sequels, then he's all for them. Wat.

this film redefines cringe. the whole record store scene where everyone is desperately trying to act out and demonstrate and then... the absolute misery of the rocky horror/horror rock band scene. if you could generate electricity with the pure buzz of cringe, this film is pure gold that could run a small city.
