Ok, that's it...I'm done!

I'm only watching new network shows when they come out on DVD through Netflix. And even then, only after a few seasons are available. "V" wasn't the best show in the world but it was ok. I liked it and I can only watch so many shows about crimes scene techs that carry guns and solve the crimes themselves. Those shows have so many clones they must get great ratings and that's fine with me, but come on! I'm really over big shows being cancelled leaving the "cliffhanger" hanging. Some shows are advertised so heavily you are almost made to feel guilty if you don't watch and then they air four or five episodes and disappear. A few years ago it was, "The Nine" they aired half a dozen episodes or so and then one of the cast ended up on "V" and another on "Grey's Anatomy". There are so many ways to watch tv now, I really don't feel the need to watch any new series,or buy the dvd's until a decent collection of seasons can be purchased. Ok, I'm off to watch "Better with You" and "No Ordinary Family"...huh? What? Oh for pity's sake...

Then I'm afraid you won't be watching any network tv considering most of the canceled genre shows only last for less than an entire season. I often think that if there was a site called deadtv.com where all the canceled genre shows go after they die, it would be very popular. Oh well, we live in hope.

Sadly, I believe you are right. But that's ok...I should really get out more anyways!

I agree I am done watching any network TV. I am tired of getting interested in a show only to have it canceled. If a show is not a big hit right away they cancel the show, leave any fans hanging then put something even worse in its place.

it would certainly be nice if they at least do a final episode tying up the big loose ends as a courtesy and the dvd's would sell better I'm sure.

Agreed...just tie it up!!

Yep. My mother and I were having dinner last week and she asked me what I thought about some show in the fall line up. I told her I thought it was too high on concept and she shouldn't get attached because it will probably be gone after it airs twice.
