When Beth was giving Natalee the "boy speech" the one thing should have mentioned was "Don't trust a guy just because he is cute" and what we saw Natalee doing in this movie was falling all over Joran saying things like "you have nice hair" "stay with me" and wanting to make out with him and things like that. Natalee made the same mistake a lot of young girls make I wonder if Beth gives that advice when she goes around the country warning young people about the dangers of traveling abroad

im surprised ur blaming the mother and natalie wow you have reached a new low. First of all remember taht she was ONLY 18 and many teens flirt, it is not her fault she misjudged his character it is Joran's fault who took advantaged of a young girl. im sure wen u were a teen u flirted with many boys too.

no I am not blaming Natalle or her mother, I am simply saying that young girls (and adult women as well) tend to trust guys they don't know based upon how attractive they are. And this Joran is a serial killer, but here is a question:
Who is more dangerous an ugly serial killer or a handsome serial killer?
Answer: A handsome serial killer because he uses his looks to his advantage, and that is what Joran did. Natalee trusted him because she thought he was cute and had "nice hair" . You have to remember women trusted Ted Bundy and Scott Peterson based upon their looks.
And BTW I did not flirt with boys as a teen since I am a guy

The OP has a point, and Joran is just a pretty boy who preys upon young niave girls and he should be locked up i hope he will
