maybe she died of a seizure

i know that joran said that she had a seizure and died in his arms this is believable because maybe she drank too much and mixed drugs(maybe he put drugs in her drink or something) and had a seizure. This has happened to a member of our family, my mother-in-law's fiance is an alcoholic and he always has these "seizure episodes" when he gets really drunk and mixes or even if he only drinks too much. please don't correct my grammar, i was just throwing in an idea. the first time we seen this guy have a seizure, we had no idea how to act luckily my husband took care of him and called an ambulance. if this did happen, joran maybe panicked and had no idea what to do, he should of just called an ambulance.

Nobody knows for sure if Joran did give her drugs. But like you said, if she drank too much (and all reports say she drank herself into a stupor and it wasn't her first night of heavy drinking) she still could have had a seizure.

Even then, though, he should have called an ambulance. Not taken her out (possibly still alive but unconscious) and thrown her into the ocean.

I agree. It's such a terrible tragedy.

It is a possibility, but I doubt it for two reasons. First, if Natalie had a seizure, it had nothing to do with Joran. All he would have had to do is call an ambulance for help. Even if she died before or after the ambulance arrived, it still would not have hurt him, since he would be made to look like the island hero for trying to save his date.

If he had drugged her, he would not worry either, since it would be impossible to trace the drug to him.

Second, if he panicked and left her there, he would have simply directed the police to the spot to find her body, and pretend she died after he started for home.

The only legitimate reason to hide or dispose of her Natalee's body would be if it was obvious that her death was unnatural (e.g., strangulation, blunt force trauma, etc.).

I have been watching a lot of Dateline and 48 Hours Mystery episodes. In most cases involving the disappearance or death of a young woman, the male perpetrator would always confess to a sexual assault gone bad. He may try to minimize his role by claiming he was drunk or that she "accidentally" slipped or hit her head and died. However, the basis remains that she fought back and he killed her out of anger or fear. I believe this happened to Natalee to as well.
