Any other films like this?

I've never really been impacted as much as I did in this film as I have anywhere else. I think this film is perfect. Not one scene could be different. This is the reason why I watch movies.
Does anybody know any other heartwarming movie like this, or any movie that has an impact like this? I know I'm probably in the minority glorifying this movie, but I really truly am in love with this movie.

I recommend Melancholia

Melancholia is of the similar genre though not quite as romantic. However the end scene is much more spectacular and compensates some of the audience's extreme boredom prior to the big bang.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

I don't know how much people will agree with me on this, but I really got the same feeling from this movie as I did Wristcutters: A Love Story. They've got the same 'falling in love while traveling' arc and they both have this strange optimism about them. Granted, Wristcutters is more of a dark comedy.

Not "heartwarming", but similarly dealing with finding love during an apocalyptic setting: Miracle Mile (1988) and Last Night (1998).

I would recommend either Vanilla Sky or Eternal Happiness for the Spotless Mind.

Check out "These Final Hours". Different kind of love found. But I'm pretty sure the same asteroid is featured in both.

Miracle Mile. It's more of a thriller, but also a very similar "falling in love as the world is ending" plot. One of my favorite movies from the 80's.

If your looking for a sort of love story while the worlds ends...then watch PERFECT SENSE... Frightening powerful stuff set in Glasgow with Ewan mcgregor & eva green.

Check out "Another Earth" with Brit Marling. It's much darker though, but it definitely has a good mix of romance with kind of an end of the world, apocalyptic type theme. Its similar to "Melancholia" as it features a second Earth (or a planet like Earth).

This is a great thread!! Apocalyptic sci-fi is one of my passions in both books and film. These movies sound so interesting. 
