Marceline's immortality

I'm just now watching Marceline the Vampire Queen and I'm a little confused because PB says that once she isn't a vampire anymore she will die.. but I thought it was the demon in her that kept her alive, not the vampire. In Finn the Human Marceline is alive but she's really old, ad she mentions being demon but doesnt mention anything about vampires. So from this we can assume that her immortality is a result of being a demon ad being a vampire is what kept her young. So shouldn't she still be immortal even after she was cured of being a vampire?

I may be remembering incorrectly, but isn't Marceline half-human half-demon? I always figured that she would live an extended lifespan due to her being a half-demon, but she would still age and die because of her humanity. That's why she was old and frail so long after being alive in that one episode. Becoming a vampire nullifies the mortality of being human which is why she didn't age or die naturally.
