I have this on dvd, but haven't seen it yet. I'm not likely to watch the Julia Roberts remake until it comes out on dvd. Can you suggest which version i should watch? Is watching one of them a spolier to watching the other?

I strongly suggest you to watch this one, it is a great movie.

I haven't seen the USA remake, and I don't think I will anytime soon. As far as I know, some characters were merged in the Hollywood version.

The only way I would suggest watching the remake first is if you are someone that hates subtitles. I haven't seen it yet but I'm guessing it would be like watching Spike Lee's Oldboy instead of the original.
