Remake? Prob biggest trashing since Infernal Affairs got

destroyed and renamed The Defarted.

Holy Cow. Hollywood is overflowing with morons & imbeciles. That's why Americans defend it so strongly.

(note: Hoping to receive undo rewards for the lousy remake, it seems this will be set in Boston, just as The Defarted was.)

You have a good point there mate...

I loved 'INTERNAL AFFAIRS' and I really didn't like 'THE DEFARTED'...

Nice rename, BTW... 

I have over 6000 films; many of them very rare and OOP. I LOVE to trade. PLEASE ASK! 

Good point, but wrong example. The Departed is literally the only American remake better than the foreign original. The Departed wasn't exactly necessary to make, but at least they added a lot to the story and got one of the best directors on earth, plus it wasn't only made for people too dumb for subtitles. Let Me In on the other hand was only made for people too dumb to read subtitles so fat American teenage girls could watch a "vamp flick" with their fat American teenage friends without having to think. The Departed only added to Infernal Affairs, while Let Me In claimed to be almost exactly the same, only with out the slightly strange and disturbing details that were shown in the superior Swedish original.

I actually thought The Departed was a pretty good remake. But how about The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo or Insomnia? Totally unnecessary and not good remakes. Same goes for Let The Right One In. Hollywood is out of ideas.
