anyone else thinks the title and the poster were misleading?

I expected this film to be something mysterious and has some big twists, it turned out to be more about the characters' regrets and emotion oriented. There were some touching moments but the story was unexpectedly ordinary. I couldn't believe the first person they suspected was exactly the murderer, I was expecting him to be actually innocent and waited for the big twist to happen, but it didn't. Did everyone who loves this film see that coming before watching the film?

Shunji Iwai is an underrated director.

Found the poster pretty misleading but in a good way. Thought going into it that the romantic elements would be just as if not more important than the mystery, but they handled that (sub?)plot really maturely. Had me invested in all storylines, and I love the movie maybe more because I expected less owing to that poster.
