La Blue Blood

Good entertaining series, however, it will not be what most would expect and certainly may not be for the enthusiast of accurate history since this is a fictional story loosely based on eighteenth century France prior to the revolution. However, if you like other similar films like Brotherhood of the Wolf, than there is chance that you make like this series. This is a very dark and Gothic type series which was well executed. Do not compare it to books/history or you may be disappointed.

Pros: Excellent cinematography, great cast and acting which were very convincing, high budget sets with great costumes, CGI, and intelligent dialogue.

Cons: I can only think of one, which is that there are some moments that it felt slow; however, it was easily overlooked since it had an engaging and interesting plot.

As a small hint of what to look forward to without giving away spoilers: It would be unfair to compare it to something like TWD because it is smarter and more clever than that.

Bottom line: If you are a history purist, than I do not recommend it or you will be sorely disappointed as this is fiction/fantasy.
