I was blown away.
Great story. Good acting.
There was even a close to realism effect of the entire film....which you would never believe looking at the title and cover of the DVD.
What more could you ask from a movie?

But seriously, folks, Defendor caught me entirely by surprise.
Almost did not see it due to my 20+ year detestation of Woody.
From the opening moments, through the rising hope of victory, to the crushing despair of the climax, ending with the only true hope for the future of all humanity, this film is truly great cinematic storytelling.
Great writing, great acting all around, very good direction.
Hope it makes money, cuz the creator is just a no name actor who has never written or directed a film before.
If we want to see more of his work, we better buy more than we download, eh? ;-)
And, Finally, Woody MAKES this film. Simply no other actor, imho, could possibly have pulled this character off at all believably; Harrelson inhabits Defendor.

Oh yes, this was the best movie I've seen in a while. and I watch A LOT of movies. It even goes as far as to send a message. Though pushed as a comedy by the Trailer not in the least bit a comedy. a Dark drama that pulls you in and makes you feel for the characters. I loved every second of that movie

I loved the movie though I wish they did not market as a comedy since it was more of a sad Don Quixote type character story. The ending pissed me off and depressed me since I found myself really liking Arthur and his bumbling well meaning attempts at making a better world. I would have loved to see a sequel to this.
