What a waste of time. I would rather spend 90 minutes sitting on the toilet reading some bromance crap dimestore booklet.

Hahahaha! That's hilarious! What a coincidence. As I was loading up the IMDB website, that is what I was thinking about the Defendor movie, "Man did that movie ever suck donkey balls!"

I'm sorry you didn't like it. I guess it's not for everyone. I liked it quite a bit but that's probably at least partly due to the fact that I grew up reading comic books and I'm growing tired of the big budget special fx blockbuster comic movies.

While I enjoyed this movie, what is there 'to get'?

It's not making a profound philosophical or political or societal statement that you need to see through in order to understand the movie. It's the same 'one regular man is tired of his dirty town and wants to clean it up' story we've seen before ('blankman', 'special', now 'kick-ass').

Or is it another case of the ubiquitous 'oh you didn't like the movie I did, therefore there must be something YOU didn't understand because then I feel better about my opinion' comment that every board has?

Care to venture exactly why you didn't like it. There are elements of this movie that irritated me but I still liked it.

This was exactly the type of movie that once again made me see how different we people are... some even seem to like crap...
