Throwing in my two cents *spoilers*

Scorsese. He did it again. He made a great movie. I thought the hype surrounding this film would hurt my experience, but no... it was great. Let's go... let me get into what I loved about this movie.
Pro:
Acting- DeNiro is stellar in this, Pesci is amazing, Pacino gives one of his best performances, Keitel, Liotta, Romano... I heard a review that said this is "The Avengers" of gangster movies, and I highly agree with that statement. Everyone is a joy to watch, making you forget the runtime of this movie, committing to everything 100%, and making me happy that DeNiro won't just be known for getting his head blown off by Joaquin Phoenix this year.
VFX and practical effects- Of course Industrial Light & Magic did well! The deaging effect, at first threw me off, but one thing this movie did differently from other movies was realizing that face isn't enough. The actors all do movements they would have done when they were younger to add to the effect. It's not a bad job at all. Also the old man makeup they apply to people getting much older is brilliant as well, showing again mixing vfx and makeup is the right way to go.
Screenplay- Steve Zaillian's screenplay really comes to life in this movie. From dialogue that is quotable, to silent moments telling everything, this is a strong screenplay.
Direction- *claps* amazing work Scorsese! His direction is basically everything he's done while making it brand new all the same. From going back to 28 to 80, we get a story that's strong, courageous, and all around a massive joy to watch.
Cons:
None
A wonderful movie, with a stunning cast, a fascinating story, and excellent writing, theirs nothing that could compare to how good Scorsese did in this movie.
