After months of Scorsese and De Niro getting a "go fuck yourself" from Pesci (at least according to De Niro lol), he's now been confirmed to star in the film http://www.esquire.co.uk/culture/film/news/a14054/joe-pesci-robert-de-niro-the-irishman/

This is great news.

By the way, as much as I like Netflix and really do appreciate the fact that they’re going to make this film see the light of day, I’m sure I speak for a lot of people when I say I would have preferred this film to be a theatrical release. Still not complaining! It’s gonna be another crime film from Scorsese that likely won’t be breaking any new ground, but it’s De Niro, Pesci, Keitel, and now Pacino all coming together. Sounds like a treat.

That he is! I remember there was a time when it seemed like he wasn’t going to be a part of this film, but luckily he decided to work with his old friends once again.

It’s incredible to see the whole gang back together (with Pacino finally joining in). And it looks like they really knocked it out of the park with all the raves the film is getting.
