What's the problem? They learned the concept and found a way to make it impossible for humans to tell them their lies. That's pretty smart.

It’s a lot like politics and war; If you believe your side is the correct and righteous side then the double standard is OK.

The issue is the other side thinks the same thing about themselves.

Right. They didn't understand the wolf using deception and manipulation in the little red riding hood story, but they sent Sophons to alter the reality of humans to influence and control them to achieve their goals. It just doesn't make sense.
