Perhaps the best film in the Iron Man trilogy
Is the first one. Too little Iron Man & Mickey Rourke's ridiculous acting makes the 2nd one nigh on unwatchable.

I certainly rank the first one the highest. Although when I first saw them I disliked Iron Man 2 but liked Iron Man 3, my opinions on those two have swapped; Iron Man 2 has grown on me some, but I find Iron Man 3 very hard to rewatch.
All for a box of chocolates...
The first one is universally considered the best. Iron Man 2 has its moments but it was a far inferior sequel for reasons other than Rourke's villain. And while it could've been better (mandarin twist notwithstanding), I view Iron Man 3 as a solid and entertaining movie overall; to put it bluntly, I like it almost as much as the first one.
You want something corny? You got it!
And that's saying a lot since most sane people considered the Iron Man trilogy as the best genre trilogy until Civil War was released.
