Because as most have said, Iron Man delivered the best trilogy the genre has seen. Add the Avengers appearances and it's a slam dunk for the character.

Cap has to take the title come May simply because Tony appears in Cap 3 but Steve was nowhere to be seen in IM3.

I didn't vote but if I had it would have been for Iron Man. You have to factor in his Avenger work.

Cap took the title it's true but I voted Iron Man at the time.
It's a great third movie however it is judged.
