C . Thomas Howell's aging.

Okay this may be completely out of left field and way off topic from this show but does anyone else think its so weird, how C. Thomas Howell has been looking, I mean right before he was on this show he was looking okay, and then when he got in it, he started looking worse for wear like at least years beyond his age. Especially considering the fact that he was in The Outsiders with a stellar good looking cast, Tom Cruise, Ralph Macchio, Matt Dillon, Patrick Swazye, Diane Lane, Rob Lowe, all virtually ageless and here we have C. Thomas on this show not looking his best. Yes he started early on looking distinguished looking to say the least but as the show went on he went from that to being virtually unrecognizable, its such a shame, now that the show is over though he doesn't look like that anymore, people were talking about it though. Before and after see the difference. Maybe the show ending was a blessing in disguise for him , just saying.

Well, his character was an alcoholic, so him looking like that was probably deliberate. Especially if he looks better now.

You know that's a great way to look at it, your probably right :-) , I didn't think of that , perhaps its was deliberate hmm never thought of that before.

I think C Thomas has also had a lot of health problems in the last few years so that's why he's looking a little rough around the edges.

I saw him recently in The Amazing Spider-Man and he looked a lot better than in Southland.

Patrick Swayze isn't looking very good these days

Youre an *beep* and for that you're most likely gunna die like Patrick.
As for Mr. Howell, he had a large portion of his intestines removed and almost died himself. Hence why he has aged not as gracefully like his Outsiders counterparts like Rob, Ralph, Tom, Matt, Diane and even Emilio.
