I was really looking to this film but after a great start after they got the kid back it went downhill fast.
The storyline was silly and could have been much better if the kid had started to go off the rails slowly instead of just walking round town killing dogs and locals for no apparent reason

ha ha re new title but although the plot was somewhat far-fetched (as in countless horrors) thought it held together v well and watched it again from beginning, made more sense to me then, just a thought ...

It started before she was ever resurrected! The woman
held the candle to the 2 parents faces and said straight
up that "something isnt right" and did not want to help
them. She knew something was going to happen but the
guy blackmailed her into it by insinuating that he would
not bring back her husband when the time was right.
She also gave her that test after the pony ride.
We as the viewers were given many clues that something
bad was going to happen. saying that the story line was
silly makes no sense, I mean we are talking about
total fantasy here, what do you expect to see??
Well considering that it's a horror movie, from the get go, you don't except them to draw unicorns and care bears… Beside, I enjoyed this movie, and the book it was adapted from, much better when it was called "Pet Semetary". Ever heard of it ?
