Little girl was highly disappointing (spoilers)

I thought the film would have been so much more chilling and frightening if Alice, the daughter, was actually creepy. Even when she was going crazy and killing people, she looked too adorable to be remotely frightening. E.g. compare her to Alice in Alice, Sweet Alice (1976), or to Damien in the Omen (1976)...those children were actually creepy. The girl in this film wasn't.

She was very cute but also the little boy from Pet Sematery.

I thought she was creepy, absolutely emotionless.

The Long Walk stops every year, just once.
