Great actor but a non-satisfying movie

Robin Williams was always great as an actor, and of course that doesn't change in this movie, but the whole story is something that simply gets boring even in the first quarter of the movie.

Low budget doesn't have to mean a bad movie, but the story needs to be both original and at least somewhat intelligent, or at least one of those. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any of those in this movie.

I don't know who wrote this dreck, and I don't want to look at the credits to find out, but he or she is horrible at writing comedy and should be ashamed of this mess. What a great waste of talent to saddle a comedy genius like Robin Williams with the burden of carrying this lifeless load. The next time I feel drawn to a new Robin Williams movie, I'm going to make sure it was written by someone who knows how to utilize Robin's comedy genius before throwing my money at it. I've always said I'd pay to see Robin Williams read the phone book and I'll always feel that way, but this movie was a big let down because of elements that were beyond his control.
