Reviews are starting to pop up on Letterboxd

I mean, they had to of known this was going to be the case when Hollywood is churning out one possession movie after another and it just doesn't seem special anymore.. Not to mention, who honestly even knew Ellen Burstyn was even alive at 90 to agree to this?? I'm guessing they were going to give Ellen her "Big Bad Momma" role like they did Jamie Lee Curtis, but for what exactly?? She did nothing in the original except stay in the kitchen making a pot of Folgers for the 2 Priests who were upstairs being shit on LITERALLY with Pea Soup, plus, as an extra added bonus, you saw Damian Karras throw himself out a window to sacrifice himself to save this girl.. EXORCIST III is exactly about this with Damian being stuck in between limbo.. They paid $400 Million supposedly for the rights to this with a 3 picture deal.. I'm thinking with reviews this bad, you're not seeing a sequel and instead, they'll lose alot of $$$$$ over this..
