How is this movie on the IMDb top 250?
It's good but shouldn't be there. And it's higher than Fargo, Jurassic Park, Gone with the Wind and Persona.
shareI would place this among the bottom five films on the list. I thought it was just dreadful, a non-stop barrage of cliches. The usually reliable Tom Hardy was ridiculous, Nick Nolte saddled with a hopelessly stock role and only Joel Edgerton emerged with a little dignity.
shareI liked it, but I don't disagree with you. It was incredibly cliche and really offered nothing new.
