No praise for Brendan?

Now I know he is the older veteran fighter/ brother, but that's what makes his victories in the movie even better!

He is easily the smallest and least powerful fighter of the competition, nor does he have the speed or agility that the other fighters do.

BUT where he lacks he makes up for it with veteran knowledge, second to none toughness, and on point Jiu-Jitsu.

The fact that he survived all of his fights, let alone won them all (by come back submission after comeback submission!) Is crazy. I know it's a movie but still Brendan is the best fighter period.

Brendan was a better fighter than tommy because the reason Tommy won the first 3 rounds was his strength. If they were both the same size it wouldn't have been that easy and I reckon Brendan held back because he didnt want to hurt him

Brendon was SMARTER and used his intelligence to win the fights. It was no accident that he taught PHYSICS because he relied a lot on LEVERAGE and MOMENTUM and his innate understanding of physics applies to that.

I like that you said this. Years ago I remember a thread asking who was the toughest and all these people were saying Tommy and all I'm thinking is, "WTF" Tommy was stronger, no doubt, but Brenden was WAY tougher. I mean look at the beating that guy took and he kept coming. As another poster said, Tommy won because he was stronger than the opponents he faced. The most common reason for hi being tougher was him ripping the door off that tank. Again, that is a matter of strength, not toughness.
