Everytime I see the turtles, they are just hideous. I know they are burn victims, but the design is away too disturbing for a kids movie. They have no nose, they have way too many scars and discolouration on their skin.
shareI for one loved their depiction. It was high time we had TMNT that were intimidating and actually looked like they could kick the crap out of trained ninjas. They really capture the attitude of each one of them. I'm so over the original cartoony look in every other movie they made of them.
shareI don't think they looked cartoony in the Michael Bay produced films. They actually looked scary.
shareThat's one of the reasons I guess I found them so cool looking. Most people would jump out of their skin if they saw mutant turtles. The other films never conveyed their powerful and frightening appearance as the Mike Bay ones did. Two stand out to me the most; Raphael who looks like a hulk and Michelangelo who has those psycho eyes from the way his mask is cut. Imagine being a foot soldier and seeing Michelangelo smile at you, lol.
shareI like the veins that they added, but their body shape is all out of form. Their heads look too small.
