But man this movie was really bad- it felt like they rehash/ripped off the old movie enough to bring up some memories but the rest of the movoe just fails.
These are good comedic actresses and it should have been a massive success but I couldn't help but feel like it was competing but not in a good way with previous movie. Want some women? Fine add to some good male castmates and have fun but they tried to hard and ruined it.

And sorry but I am sure Leslie is a nice lady and all but all she does is loud + obnoxious and it doesn't work for a whole film maybe some small bits but just too much top loud. And McCarthy is kind of just doing version of same character. Sad

It had potential to be a decent movie, but the director (Paul Feig) let his ego get in the way and he essentially ruined the film.

Amazing how he was trying to make some type of progressive, fresh, remake and like you said; it was just a rehash of tired, stereotypical cliches and writing.
