Record for most fake blood used in a horror film...
I actually really like this movie, and think it's unfairly criticized by horror fans (by fans of the original, in particular), but I kinda think it's BS that it holds the record for fake blood used in a horror movie.
I mean, yeah it's gruesome, and there's a lot of super bloody/gory scenes, but they "earned" the record by using 50k gallons of fake blood at the end when it rained blood.
I think that's kinda weak, and not really what the record is about.
I believe Braindead (1992) held the record for just over 20 years until the Evil Dead remake came out in 2013, and I think Peter Jackson made better use of his fake blood.
It's sort of like how the movie *beep* holds the record for most F-words used in a film; it's easy to break the record for use of the F-word when you make a documentary about the F-word.
Before *beep* came out, I believe Nil by Mouth (1997) held the record, and Gutterballs (2008) before that (not 100% sure about that).
Anyways, let me know if you guys agree or disagree and why, thanks!
