There's an unrated cut on iTunes and (I believe) blu-ray that was released recently

It was only a digital release I heard, sadly no one has put it up yet.

Any idea if it is any different to the extended cut that was shown on UK tv?

Exactly the same. Runtime of 96 minutes, 25 seconds.
Amazon USA and VUDU have it at the moment.

I liked the added scenes other than that one.
