Nail Gun

Sorry but a nail gun doesn't work that way. You have to have the gun pressed against something in order to fire any nails. It's called a safety mechanism otherwise accidents would happen in factories all the time.

Yeah. I thought about that too... Even so, it was pretty fun watching Eric get destroyed by that thing.

It's an air nail gun

Also, Demons aren't real.
Can't believe you missed that!

FYI, you can circumvent the safety mech very easily; also, a nail gun that's not properly oiled or maintained, are prone to having the safety mech fail.

The bigger issue was that the nails don't fly out like arrows or darts, they tumble.
You'd be lucky to get one in 50 shots to stick into anything, plus they wouldn't have the speed to go deep from across the room.
I see guys at work shoot at each other for fun, all the time.

Also, air nail guns need to be plugged into an air hose, along with it pressed against something

reply

Well, you don't know for an actual fact that demons "don't exist."

However, the argument for realism in a movie like this is silly.

there are battery ones that have a smell compressor inside but you need to charge it after every few shots.
